Ministry Events

Ministry events cannot and should not replace the ongoing, week by week discipleship and evangelistic ministries of the local church.  However, ministry events such as retreats, rallies, gatherings, conferences, camps, revivals, evangelistic outreaches, or evangelism training can be a strategic tool of the Lord to assist your church in its ongoing discipleship and evangelistic ministries.  Simplicity Ministries® is ready to come alongside your church for those strategic and divine moments.

Mike Thibodeaux has been a traveling speaker and evangelist to teens, college students, and adults since 1998, calling generations of all nations to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.  Mike carries the concern and burden articulated by the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:3 — “But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion  to Christ” – for the church and the non-believer in our present culture.

The messages Mike preaches are centered on Scripture and prayerfully prepared to accurately expound the Word of God.  Mike is gifted to connect with many audiences:  men, teens, college students, couples, and adults of all ages.  With a passionate and prophetic voice, Mike proclaims the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Whether your event need is evangelistic outreach, spiritual growth, renewal and revival, training in evangelism, or simply for someone you can trust to fill the pulpit in your absence, Mike Thibodeaux, has devoted his life and ministry to serve the local church and reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mike’s Message:  Simply and Purely Devoted to Christ

Mike’s preaching aims at one clear goal:  to call those listening to live simply and purely devoted to Christ.  This call, based on 2 Corinthians 11:3 and 5:15, is to no longer live for oneself but for Christ who died and rose again on our behalf.  Simple devotion to Christ is the denial of oneself, the submission of oneself to God’s will and authority, and the committing of oneself to follow Christ in obedience to His Word.

The one who is simply devoted to Christ has a deep ambition to live his life to please God.  He is compelled by His love to count everything as loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ. One with such single-hearted devotion cannot stop speaking about Christ.  He fulfills the ministry of reconciliation.  Mike’s preaching calls people to such devotion.  Anything less, is to call them to a form of godliness that denies God’s power – the power to transform a life to the righteousness of His Son!
